Brother to Brother in the Keys

Brothers

Sunset at Key West

The one that didn't get away
Lost Sailor

Mike went to Marathon Key to visit his brother Matt who lives on his sailboat which is a work in progress. Matt has been working to refurbish his Cal 25 (Lost Sailor) from the ground up and lives on it while the work continues. It is amazing to see how much he has done, how much he has learned, and how much he has yet to do. But it is exciting to see him living out his dream.

While Mike was there they went to Curry Hammock State Park and to Key West. They also went fishing out in the Gulf of Mexico. Mike spent several hours sea Kayaking in Matt's kayak and saw a huge Iguana and many birds out in their natural habitat. He even saw a Manatee right by Matt's dock.

Mike had the pleasure of visiting with Bob and Quaidie Hock in Orlando on the way down and on the way back. They were excellent hosts and it was a delight to get to see them again.
