Sumpin's Up

Shelby and I don't know what's going on, but sumpin's up. Beth and Mike have been running in and out of here like dogs off a leash. Their friend Andrea, from New Zealand, who has been living with us for about a week now is here and gone, here and gone again quick as a rabbit. Everyone seems to be moving at light speed. And they talk quietly in the other room so that we can't hear them. I just know sumpin's up and it can't be good.

Mike got his tent out and has begun to play Camper-Man! He struts around the yard trying to remember how the darn thing goes up. It looks more like the deflated Santa on the lawn after Christmas than something you would actually sleep in, unless of course you like nylon sheets. He also got their camp stove out, but I hope he's not having hot dogs (Ouch). Where's the tofu when you need it? I noticed the sleeping bags and the mats are not in the attic anymore, so maybe...

I wonder if they're going to take us with them? The last time they left we stayed in a flea infested doggy prison and Shelby got a rash. If they go this time, I hope that we can stay with Josh and Abby. They're cool. We like to just hang out with them. Josh gives us lots of attention, especially me. He thinks Shelby is nice, but he loves me most. He tells me to give him "high fives" and "high tens" and I stand on my hind legs and slap his hands with my front paws. Then he gives me a treat. I've got him trained so well. His treats are better than ours. Abby is spoiled rotten, but what can you say... She's a dog, living a dog's life!

Anyway, stay tuned, and I'll keep you apprised of what we find out...

Till then, Chow, or Bulldog, or Shepherd, or whatever it is you're supposed to say. Oh, I know, "Dog Gone"
